Although acoustic guitar and trumpet may seem an unlikely pairing, Trumped! has been surprising and delighting audiences throughout Ottawa for the past year as they deliver their cool, unique blend of jazzy pop. Sceptics are usually offered the comparison to a guitar and harmonica duo, only instead of a harmonica there’s a trumpet, and instead of blues they play jazzy pop.

Trumped! has created a unique sound by combining elements of jazz, funk, folk, and blues together and fusing it with strong pop sensibilities. The resulting mixture is an original and enjoyable sound laid with strong grooves and catchy hooks.
