Bill Brown's 1,2,3 Slam - May Edition.
Come and be part of the show as BB123 Slam continues its successful run. Canada's only regularly running slam event in the 1-2-3 format hosts its ninth show -- and it's fully formed! Come check it out in our usual slot on the third Thursday of the month inside the Umi Cafe!

Nomad Gallery is the gallery that has no home. Travelling from venue to venue we provide the opportunity for people to express themeslves and share experiences and ideas with others. This is a great community event that allows amateur artists to put their work in with professional artists to experience a real live happening in the making.
Come celebrate art, music, and community spirit at our very own local Umi Cafe.
Bring your talents, your ideas, your dreams, your projects, your info, your creativity, and your friends too...youre all welcome to share and inspire so that we can diversify our community.

THe 1st EVER Umi Cafe Community Garden is underway as we speak.
Just in time as the rain gods have opened the floodgates for us.
Work is currently being done to prepare the structure and start up
work to begin planting by Friday.
This is a call out to interested groups or individuals wishing lend a hand, volunteer, create a knowledge sharing network, come and share wisdom,
get dirty, APPLY FOR A PLOT, or any other initiatives or RESOURCES you might be willing to share.
