Ottawa New Music Series Presents
:
MACKENZIE RHYTHM SECTION
w/ guest Amelia Leclair
8:00 PM
Licensed Event (I.D. required)
All ages/

This Saturday, Ottawa's New Music Series continues showing why its one of the most eclectic, different and fun nights to come out on saturday. Something for everyone! Ottawa’s Mackenzie Rhythm Section is a new group that brings you funk, soul, jazz and blues with a combination of original tunes and their own flavour added to select classics. Thumpy bass, smooth Rhodes piano and funky drums accompany sweet-sounding vocals. Taking hints from B.B King, Herbie Hancock and James Brown, this trio sticks to groove one moment and then gets any dancefloor to shake it. Amelia Leclair is an artist that is on the brink of breakthrough. Her astonishing musicality, voice and musical essence captivates any audience that has the opportunity to listen. Make sure to check her out at http://www.myspace.com/ameliastunes , but especially live. Not To Miss.
