Do we need war heroes to encourage more soldiers to go to war,
or do we need war heroes to enourage peace heroes?"

Nuit-au-Nerdes - A- la - Sarad D
6:30 PM - ???
Nerd Night is now diving into the world of endless numbers, unrecognizable languages and
music. For the first time, Nerd Night will have a musical act to finish things off.
Tonight, Sarah D, (Sarah and Dee) from Welland and Guelph, make Umi Cafe one of their stops on their East Coast Tour.
Sounds Like: Cheap banjo, old accordion, pianos that are (or are not) around. A couple of bad jokes for good measure, & screaming and whispering songs about skeletons(/the devil).
- - To say it in words, however they can't always explain what you feel,
so check them out at: http://www.myspace.com/andthegaloshes
Come at 6:30 PM for non-regular nerd night things, take the balderdash title, take out siggy in the MarioKart Tournament, plan out the chess takeover, or bring your own game. Then around 9 o clock, sit back, bob your head, snap your fingers close your eyes, do what you do and
become nerdedly entranced by the sounds of Sarah D.

7;30 PM - pay what you can
Magazine Release - T.O.F.U. - living and touring vegan in a world that smells fishy
That's right, T.O.F.U. magazine is hitting the road. As always, the magazine focuses on issues related to being vegan without depending on 800 recipes for mock tuna casserole. Looking to celebrate veganism and other positive actions, the tour will showcase local artists and others who are working hard to create positive change. Curious? It's OK, we don't bite. Well, we do, but we've had our shots...at least most of us.
Performances by; Elizabeth, Bruce, Amanda Rogers and Chrissy Lovingood.
