UMI has a BAND IN A BAG with some BREAKFAST!

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

After these mystical series of events that have gone on around here, we must say thank you to all the wonderful people who have worked so hard making good honey, fundraising, taking care of countless tasks in order to make Umi what it is meant to be. Thank you. The community has shown initiative to plan another “gathering” to discuss potentials and honor the work that they have done. Date to be announced soon.

FRIDAY NIGHT OPEN MIC w/ Brad Morden and “Band in a Bag”

Brad Morden is a Poet/Musician who has been moving people around Ottawa to cooperate develop quality music. He has become integral to the new rising of artists. Not only does he operate his label, Sounds of Solidarity, but he was also Capital Slam Winner in January! Off to a good year, with the emergence of the new band, Band in a Bag.
Certainly not an event to miss!
Come raise come the open mic and then be blessed with the fresh sounds and lights of Band in a Bag.

$ 5 Cover or suggested donation, but its ok

Saturday and Sunday, we are serving breakfast for those early go-getters.
Freshly made, come get your morning brew, oj, muffin or croissant, with your choice of “continental” or “mama” menu options.

Breakfast will be served 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
